Nine years ago today, the world was taken by shock when Aaliyah Dana Haughton had passed. I remember when this happened, I was in 8th grade. I didn't take the news well at all because Aaliyah was one of my favorites. But I just wanted to take this time on my blog to remember her. I've always loved Aaliyah not only for her music, but also because she just seemed to have such a warm spirit. Her music is timeless so lets celebrate her legacy.
